Sales Track · Van sales
Van sales software for ready-stock delivery routes
Van sales is selling and delivering in one visit: the van carries stock, and the rep sells from it at each outlet on the route. The Van Sales module in Sales Track, available from the Growth plan, runs ready-stock delivery routes with the same GPS check-ins, scheme pricing and offline app as the rest of Sales Track.
- Ready-stock delivery routes
- Orders with scheme pricing applied
- GPS-verified outlet visits, offline-first
The basics
What is van sales?
In most trade channels, the rep takes an order today and the distributor delivers it later. Van sales collapses the two: a van loaded with stock runs a route, and each outlet buys from what is on the van.
Van sales suits outlets that order small quantities often, fast-moving products, and markets where a separate delivery run costs too much. It also gets new products onto shelves quickly, because the stock is already on the van.
The hard part is control. Each van is a moving warehouse, so the brand needs to know what was sold where, at what price and under which scheme — on routes that often have no network.
The challenge
Where van sales loses control
And what changes in Sales Track.
01
Routes drift
Routes are planned in Sales Track, and every outlet stop has a geo-fenced check-in.
02
Prices and schemes vary by driver
Orders carry scheme-applied pricing automatically.
03
No network on the route
The app is offline-first and syncs when the van is back in coverage.
04
Sales seen only at day end
Dashboards show field movement and order value during the day.

Setting it up
When van sales makes sense
Start van sales where outlets are dense and order small, and where pre-sales with later delivery leaves gaps on the shelf. Run it alongside pre-sales beats rather than replacing them everywhere.
Keep the route fixed, as with any beat, so outlets know when the van comes. Use the same scheme setup as your pre-sales orders, so retailers see one price whichever way they buy.
- Dense outlets with small, frequent orders
- Run alongside pre-sales beats
- Fixed routes outlets can rely on
- Same schemes as pre-sales

FAQs
Van sales FAQs
What is van sales?
A way of selling where a van carries stock and the rep sells and delivers at each outlet on the route, in one visit.
Which plan includes van sales?
The Van Sales module for ready-stock delivery routes is available in Sales Track from the Growth plan.
Are schemes applied on van orders?
Yes. Orders in Sales Track carry scheme-applied pricing, whether the rep is on a pre-sales beat or a van route.
What is the difference between van sales and pre-sales?
In pre-sales, the rep takes an order and the distributor delivers it later. In van sales, the rep sells from stock on the van and delivers immediately.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Sales Track is offline-first: reps can check in, place orders, capture photos and log activities without connectivity, and everything syncs when the network returns.
Does it connect to our DMS or ERP?
Yes. Sales Track connects natively with Distribution+ (the IMAST DMS) and to SAP, Tally and other ERPs through REST APIs.
