Loyalty programs for cement dealers, masons and contractors
A cement loyalty program rewards the dealers and retailers who sell your bags and the masons, contractors and engineers who recommend them on site. IMAST 360 runs dealer schemes and influencer programs together — with field-rep enrolment, Digital KYC, WhatsApp and rewards that pay out safely.
- Mason and contractor rewards on every bag
- Dealer and retailer volume schemes
- Field-rep enrolment with Digital KYC
The basics
What is a cement loyalty program?
Cement is bought by the bag but decided on site. The individual home builder usually asks the mason or contractor which brand to use, and that recommendation often outweighs price. Dealers and retailers, meanwhile, decide what to stock and how hard to push it. A cement loyalty program rewards both: masons and contractors for recommending and using your brand, and dealers and retailers for volume and loyalty.
Influencer programs in cement typically work through a code printed on or inside each bag, or through invoice uploads, so the mason earns for the bags used on their sites. Dealer programs run on volume slabs, targets and payment discipline.
Because masons are spread across towns and villages and many are not comfortable with apps, enrolment usually happens through field teams and WhatsApp rather than app downloads.
The challenge
Where cement channel programs leak
The problems we hear most often — and what changes on IMAST 360.
01
Masons are hard to reach
Field reps in Sales Track enrol masons on site with Digital KYC; WhatsApp keeps them updated afterwards.
02
Bulk buys, many influencers
Earning rules decide who earns on each scan or invoice — mason, contractor or both.
03
High-value rewards attract misuse
KYC before redemption plus AI checks on duplicate claims, velocity and location anomalies.
04
Dealer schemes disputed
Purchase data from Distribution+ drives scheme calculation, so both sides see the same numbers.

Scheme ideas
Schemes that work in cement
Examples you can launch from the LoyaltyBoard scheme engine without a developer.
| Scheme | How it works | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Site bonus | Bonus above a bag count per month | Rewards bigger sites |
| Premium grade push | Extra points on premium or blended grades | Shifts the product mix |
| Mason tiers | Better rewards at higher tiers | Keeps top masons loyal |
| Dealer volume slab | Bonus when monthly purchases cross a slab | Grows primary volume |
| Referral bonus | Points when a mason enrols a peer who completes KYC | Grows the base |
Designing it
How to design a cement loyalty program
Design for the site, not the office. Earning should take seconds, enrolment should work through a field rep or a WhatsApp message, and the program should run in the mason's language. Make the first reward reachable within a few sites so the program earns trust early.
Be clear about who earns on bulk purchases. On larger sites the contractor may buy and several masons may work; decide whether points go to the contractor, the masons, or are split, and configure that in the scheme engine before launch.
On the dealer side, combine volume slabs with payment-discipline rewards. Cement margins are tight, so schemes that improve collections can matter as much as schemes that add volume.
- Field-rep and WhatsApp enrolment, not app downloads
- Decide who earns on bulk purchases
- First reward reachable within a few sites
- Dealer schemes for volume and payment discipline
- Programs in the mason's language
Measuring it
What to measure — and what to avoid
Measure enrolment and activity by district, because cement is regional. A program that works in one region and stalls in another usually has a field-team or communication gap, not a design problem.
Track how many bags each active mason influences, the share of premium grades, and redemption rates. Low redemption often means rewards don't match what masons value; cash rewards via UPI and bank transfer usually help.
Avoid launching nationally on day one. Pilot in a few districts, fix enrolment and claims processes, then roll out region by region.
- Enrolment and activity by district
- Bags influenced per active mason
- Premium-grade share
- Redemption rate
- Pilot first, then roll out by region

FAQs
Cement loyalty program FAQs
What is a cement loyalty program?
A program that rewards cement dealers and retailers for selling a brand and masons, contractors and engineers for recommending it, usually through bag codes or invoices for influencers and purchase schemes for dealers.
How do masons enrol if they don't use apps?
Field reps can enrol them on site with Digital KYC, and masons can join and get updates on WhatsApp.
Who earns points on a bulk purchase?
You decide. Earning rules can credit the contractor, the masons or split points between them.
Can we run separate rules by region?
Yes. Schemes, tiers and catalogues can differ by region, member type and product.
What rewards do masons prefer?
Many prefer cash. Reward Max includes UPI and bank transfers alongside gift vouchers, merchandise and experiences.
Can dealer schemes use our order data?
Yes. LoyaltyBoard integrates natively with Distribution+, so purchase data flows in for scheme calculation.
How do you stop fake claims and duplicate scans?
Members complete Digital KYC with PAN and Aadhaar eKYC before redeeming, OCR checks catch edited invoices, and AI flags duplicate claims, unusual redemption speed, shared devices and location anomalies before payout.
How is TDS handled on partner rewards?
Since 1 April 2026, TDS on business benefits falls under Section 393 of the Income-tax Act, 2025 (formerly Section 194R): 10% on the full value once a recipient's benefits exceed ₹20,000 in a financial year. Reward Max tracks rewards per recipient, verifies PAN and deducts TDS automatically. Confirm specific cases with your tax adviser.
