Loyalty programs for lubricant and tyre brands
A lubricants and tyres loyalty program rewards the mechanics and garages who recommend and fit your products and the retailers and dealers who stock them. IMAST 360 runs mechanic scan-to-earn, garage and retailer schemes and rewards on one platform, in local languages, with fraud checks before every payout.
- Mechanic scan-to-earn on every pack
- Garage, retailer and dealer schemes
- WhatsApp-first for busy garages
The basics
What is a lubricants and tyres loyalty program?
In the aftermarket the mechanic decides. A vehicle owner asks the garage for an oil change or new tyres and usually accepts the brand the mechanic recommends. Retailers and dealers decide which brands they stock. A loyalty program in this category rewards mechanics for choosing your products and retailers and dealers for stocking and selling them.
Mechanic programs typically work through a QR code on each lubricant pack or a code on tyres: the mechanic scans when fitting, earns points and climbs tiers. Retailer and dealer programs use purchase slabs and focus-product schemes.
Garages are busy and fragmented, so the program has to be fast — a scan in seconds, alerts on WhatsApp — and work in the mechanic's language.

Designing it
How to design a lubricants and tyres program
Design for the service bay. Scanning should fit into the job — scan when the pack is opened or the tyre is fitted — and points should credit instantly with a WhatsApp alert.
Decide whether the garage owner or individual mechanics earn. Many programs credit the mechanic who fits the product, with a separate scheme for the garage owner who buys stock.
Pair the mechanic program with retailer schemes so stock is available where mechanics buy, and use premium-grade bonuses to shift the mix.
- Scan at the moment of fitting
- Mechanic vs garage-owner earning rules
- Instant points, WhatsApp alerts
- Retailer schemes for availability
- Premium-grade bonuses
Measuring it
What to measure — and what to avoid
Track active mechanics, scans per mechanic, premium-grade share and garage retention. Regional comparisons show where field coverage needs strengthening.
Review fraud alerts regularly; codes can be collected from discarded packs, so KYC and anomaly checks matter.
Avoid slow or small rewards. Mechanics respond to quick, tangible rewards, and many prefer cash.
- Active mechanics
- Scans per mechanic
- Premium-grade share
- Garage retention
- Fraud review on code collection
